Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, stressed today, Sunday, the importance of the security forces working in a team spirit.
Al-Sudani's media office stated in a statement received by Al-Maalouma Agency that "Al-Sudani visited the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Baghdad," noting that "during the visit, the current situation and emerging challenges were discussed in light of the repercussions and events witnessed by the region."
Al-Sudani was briefed on "the progress of security operations and the nature of the plans that the forces of various types are working on, and the necessity of reviewing these plans in a manner consistent with the developments taking place."
He stressed the "importance of continuous field presence and working in a team spirit for all security forces and integrated plans between the various formations."
He added: "During the visit, the armament file was reviewed in light of the security forces development strategy that was approved, and the bilateral memoranda signed with advanced countries in this field, and the necessary attention was given to this issue, which represents one of the government's priorities."
