    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The leader in the coordination framework, Ali Al-Fatlawi, confirmed today, Friday (November 24, 2023), that the government of Muhammad Al-Sudani is required to carry out 3 tasks after the bombing of Jurf Al-Nasr, considering that what happened in Jurf undermines the fact that there are only advisory forces in the country, but rather combat forces.
Al-Fatlawi said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", "The bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Jurf al-Nasr by American aircraft is a blatant, premeditated and intentional attack by Washington for several goals, the most prominent of which is that it sees the Popular Mobilization Forces as a national force that contributed to the failure of its plan in Iraq after 2014."
He added, "The Sudanese government has three tasks after the crime of Jurf al-Nasr, which is to protect the security forces, including the Popular Mobilization Forces, from any external attacks and to conduct an investigation into what happened because it confirms that we are facing combat forces that own aircraft and artillery and not an advisory force, in addition to seeking to implement the Council's decision." Representatives in 2020 decided to remove foreign combat forces from the country, including American ones.”
He pointed out, "We do not have any problem with diplomatic missions and protecting them is the duty of the Baghdad government, but the time has come to remove any combat force from Iraq because it is an occupying force that harms the security scene and leads to undermining stability. What happened in Jurf al-Nasr is important evidence whose danger must be paid attention to now."
Yesterday, Thursday, the Secretary-General of the Nujaba Movement, Akram Al-Kaabi, called for a “declaration of war” on America and its expulsion from Iraq.
A statement from the movement received by "Baghdad Today" stated, "Any American presence cannot be accepted in any form, whether in the capacity of combat forces, advisors, or technicians. This is considered a hostile presence from an arrogant state hostile to Iraq."
The statement pointed out that "the Islamic resistance in Iraq will translate its words and will into the field," according to the statement.
