On Wednesday, Minister of Agriculture Abbas al-Maliki announced the lifting of agricultural reform on lands amounting to approximately 80,000 dunams.
Al-Maliki said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “we have completed the lifting of agricultural reform on lands of approximately 80,000 dunams in 7 governorates,” adding, “This is a great opportunity to provide housing for our citizens in all parts of Iraq.”
He continued, "We are continuing with everything we can to provide housing, service, and the agricultural products that must be grown."
