The Secretary-General of the Civil Movement in Iraq, Shorouk Al-Abaiji, confirmed that the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to Washington is smooth and easy and will not bring with it a political headache.
Al-Abayji said, in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani is very lucky with the timing of his visit to Washington, noting that the American side is currently in an election period and this will help Al-Sudani a lot.”
She added, "The upcoming visit to Washington will not cause any headache or political discomfort, stressing that the political differences with the American side were due to the factional attacks in the recent period, and these attacks have ended, and I do not think that there are political problems."
She pointed out that "the main headache is the mutual missile attacks between the Iraqi resistance factions and the American bases in the region, and after the truce launched by the Islamic resistance, this headache stopped."
