The Intelligence and Air Defense laws are on the parliamentary security table

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee revealed that there are pending laws that are in the process of discussion, including the Intelligence and Air Defense laws, which are still in the process of discussion.
The committee member, rapporteur of the House of Representatives, Beida Khader Salman, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The committee recently completed the National Security Law, the Institute for Preparing Commissioners, and the Civil Defense Law.”
She revealed that “there are laws that are still pending and in the process of discussions, including (the Intelligence Law and the Air Defense Law), explaining that “the Security and Defense Committee seeks to approve all important laws that support the military and security forces for the purpose of supporting them strategically in a way that contributes to their security and military superiority.”
Salman added, “The committee met with a number of specialist consultants in all military fields to keep pace with global developments,” noting that “all the laws approved by the committee were subjected to extensive discussions after deliberations with all specialists.
