[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Maldivian Parliament approved, by a majority of votes, an amendment to a draft law prohibiting holders of Israeli passports from entering the country, and referred it to the Security Committee for review.
The draft law submitted by the Maldives Democratic Party to the Council of Ministers, the country's main opposition party, stipulates that holders of Israeli passports will be prohibited from entering the Maldives.
He called on government and opposition representatives in Parliament to speed up the amendment process “in line with the desire of the government and the people.” After the final vote, all holders of Israeli passports and dual citizenship will also be banned from entering the Maldives.
