    Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired the regular meeting of the Higher Committee for the Development Road Project yesterday, Sunday. The meeting approved the formation of a joint committee to prepare cadastro maps for the lands through which the project paths pass, determine the ownership of those lands and their legal description, and work to expropriate them for the benefit of the Ministry of Transport, in accordance with the laws and decisions in force, or those required to be created, to proceed with the expropriation required to complete the project.[/size]
    [size=45]The legal vision for managing the Development Road and Grand Faw Port project through a special law was also reviewed, taking into consideration similar experiences in the region and the world, and the vision for transferring energy within the project, in addition to the diplomatic file that includes explaining the dimensions of the project to friendly countries, and countries wishing to join and participate in the implementation, or their companies’ contribution to the investment opportunities that will be provided by the general framework of the Development Road path.[/size]
