The Independent High Electoral Commission revealed today, Saturday, the number of candidates and alliances for the Kurdistan Parliament elections.[/size]
[size=45]Commission spokeswoman Jumana Al-Ghalay said in an interview that “the process of registering entities resulted in the registration of 139 lists and 13 parties, while the number of individual candidates for Christian components reached 19 candidates.”[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that the candidates of the Christian component are distributed as follows: 7 candidates in Erbil, 4 in Sulaymaniyah, and 8 in Dohuk. The number of candidates from the Turkmen component reached 20 candidates, 14 of whom are in Erbil and 6 in Sulaymaniyah. The number of individual candidates reached 85 candidates.[/size]
