[size=45]On Monday, September 2, 2024, Bakhtiar Haji, Director General of Relations and Follow-up Affairs at the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Baghdad, visited the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Regional Government, and was received by Mr. Abu Bakr Ali, Director General of the Budget in the Ministry.[/size]
[size=45]During a meeting attended by Mr. Kamran Shahrzad Mohammed, Deputy Director General, the results of the recent visit of the Ministry’s delegation to Baghdad were discussed, as well as the efforts aimed at resolving the issue of sending salaries to Kurdistan Region employees.[/size]
[size=45]It was also stressed that the Ministry had provided all the required information to the Federal Ministry of Finance, and that salaries should be sent to the region monthly without delay.[/size]
[size=45]On the other hand, it was decided to link the Budget Directorate to the electronic platform of the representation, in order to exchange official correspondence electronically.[/size]
[size=45]At the end of the meeting, the Director General of the Budget praised the role of the representation in bringing the views of the federal institutions closer to the region, and providing facilities for citizens’ transactions[/size]
