    [rtl]The Ministry of Oil announced today, Friday, that the percentage of completion of the designs for the gas development project in the Artawi field has reached 100%.[/rtl]
    [rtl]“The other stage after the designs is the stage of establishing the project on the ground, which is divided into several stages, including the stage of precise engineering details that include equipment such as pumps, compressors, etc.,” said Majed Mohammed Al-Shawalef, technical assistant of the Southern Gas Company and project manager, in a statement received by “Al-Eqtisad News.” He pointed out that “the engineering designs do not provide all the details of this equipment in detail, and therefore all the precise details of the equipment must be given to a specialized company that carries out the purchasing and equipment process in the best possible way, and then moves to the equipment equipment process from the manufacturing source to the construction site, and then begins the implementation work, which includes civil, mechanical, electrical, and other works.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Al-Shawaf added, “All these steps are subject to certificates, signatures and follow-up by the Southern Gas Company, and thus the transition from one stage to another until reaching the launching or trial operation stage,” explaining that “after the design stage that was fully completed comes the preparation stage (the tender) that was launched and the referral stage for purchasing the (governing) equipment for the project’s operation, including what concerns the electric power generators operating the project and other equipment such as control units and what is related to them.”[/rtl]
