    Denied the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources, on Saturday, reports that there are problems in the Mosul Dam, and confirmed that the dam is functioning normally and maintenance work going on around the clock, and accused the "hostile foreign agenda for Iraq to publish those lies", the media called "be careful and not drift behind that information, which aims to sow discord ".

"
    He said Rashid that "maintenance work going on around the clock and follow-up ongoing and directly by the Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari and specialists in the ministry with project management and director of the Mosul dam expert engineer Riad Izz al-Din Ali," and accused "foreign hostile agenda for Iraq targeting the country and not the ministry of being behind all acts of sabotage and the dissemination of rumors and lies. "
    Rashid said that "The ministry had previously published and through several means that maintenance and repairs are still going on and the state of good dam qualifies him to work as opposed to what is published the information is trying to mislead the truth and hopes of their business and the successes of the ministry to pass the water crisis," calling, media and all the sons the Iraqi people to "be careful in drift behind those false information aimed at spreading sedition and planting weakness."

    The Ministry of Water Resources has renewed, the Sunday (20 December 2015), denied the existence of risks in the Mosul Dam, and confirmed that the dam is functioning normally, as pointed out that the maintenance work going on in it.
