Economist: WTO [membership] will enhance Iraq’s relationship with major industrial countries
Baghdad (newsletter). The Economist stressed Ismail Radi, Iraq should be sought to join the World Trade Organization of its features help support economic sectors of the country, close to Iraq with the major developed countries.
He said content (News Agency): that the Iraqi Ministry of trade required to complete action on Iraq’s accession to the World Trade Organization to support the national economy, to promote commercial exchanges and ensure that goods are good for the country.
He said: the States under the Organization’s membership is one of the world’s major industrialized nations, such as Japan, China, Korea, England, Germany and elsewhere, and that’s what will bring Iraq to those States which will contribute to strengthening economic and trade relations with it.
The WTO has asked Iraq to complete procedures necessary for membership of the organization.
The WTO was founded in 1995 and is one of the smallest international organizations under the WTO is the successor to the General Agreement on tariffs and trade (GATT), established in the aftermath of the second world war, and its primary objective is to help trade flow and the strings and freedom.
And the WTO’s membership includes more than 140 members, representing over (90%) Of world trade
