    Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi confirmed to reconsider the agreements signed with oil companies in the light of the developments of the big drop in oil prices. And as pointed out that the government interest in the oil sector is linked to the potential of the country and its place among the producing countries, the oil ministry to negotiate with the company "Lukoil" Russia to raise oil production volumes and an end to the phenomenon of burning natural gas. 
    He said the Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, said in a statement received ( long -Presse) copy of it, "Ebadi received today in his office the President of Russia's LUKOIL Faguyt Alekperov and his accompanying delegation." 
    he explained Abadi, according to the statement, that "our interest in the oil sector is linked to the potential ofour country in the production and export of oil in quantities commensurate with the status of Iraq as aproducer Prime, as well as an end to the phenomenon of natural gas , which he suffered in vain in that wealth burning , "stressing" the need to reconsider the oil agreements with companies in the light of developments in the international situation big drop in oil prices. " 
    he stressed Abadi , the need to " resolve the outstanding issues with the company Lukoil and reach a fair agreement that guarantees oil energy investment better, "directed the oil ministry to" begin to negotiate with Lukoil and achieve increases in oil production and investment associated gas volumes. "
