    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari discussed with the US Energy Minister, Jeffrey Ernest Moniz, the measures to prevent the leak of radioactive materials caused by the Syrian crisis and the actions of the mutual commissions formed within the Strategic Framework Agreement between both countries.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A statement by the Foreign Ministry reported “Zibari made talks on last Monday in Vienna with Moniz and his accompanied delegation which comprised two representatives from the White House and the US Secretariat of State.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“The two sides reviewed talks over the international Conference related to the Nuclear Security and the proposed ministerial statement where the US Minister welcomed lifting the UN sanctions on Iraq as well as Iraq’s commitments to its obligations concerning the disarmament and disposal of the mass destruction weapons,” the statement added.[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Both parties discussed the security at the Iraqi-Syrian borders and the cooperation being shown to prevent leak of the radioactive materials following the Syrian crisis as well as discussing the activities of the Strategic Framework Agreement,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
