    Confirmed the Department of Information said that " the Council completed the first reading of the draft first amendment to the law of the amnesty law No. (27) for the year 2016 submitted by the Legal Committee, to be voted in principle in the next hearing on the bill that comes due to the seriousness of terrorist crimes and kidnappings of people on Iraqi society and especially committed after 10.06.2014. " 
    A statement of parliament that "members of parliament have completed the first reading of the draft third amendment of the governorates not organized law in the territory of Law No. (21) for the year 2008 submitted by the Legal Committee in order to address the problems exposed by the practical application of the law of governorates not organized in a region number (21) for the year 2008 and to determine the meaning senior appointments and sub-districts and local employee and define the powers of the Council of Ministers appointed and maximize provincial resources. " 
    The statement said that " The Council completed the first reading of the draft provincial and district council elections and respects the law submitted by the Legal Committee for the conduct of free and fair elections of the governorates not organized in a region, districts affiliate and so these elections will be democratic away from external influences and to raise the elections to be desired." 
    Department of Information and stated that " the Council ended the first reading of the proposed capital of Basra , Iraq 's economic law submitted by the Committee of economy and investment in order to strengthen the economic role to preserve and revitalize the economic and developmental movement in Iraq."
