The Ministry of Planning confirmed that media professionals are exempted from the curfew imposed during the population census.
Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi said in a statement, "As for media professionals and journalists, we are now working on issuing special badges through coordination or forming a joint committee between the Ministry of Planning, the Prime Minister's Media Office, the Communications and Media Commission, and the Joint Operations Command."
He added, "The procedures for issuing badges to media professionals will be completed, allowing them to move during the curfew on November 20 and 21."
Regarding the possibility of including other categories in the exemption, he explained that "we are waiting for instructions from the relevant authorities regarding the implementation of the curfew on the census days."
