Baghdad (newsletter). Parliament voted on second amendment Act customs tariff law No. 22 for the year 2010, that will work with the Coalition Provisional Authority Act No. 38 for three years.

Member of the Economic Committee, said Nora albegari (News Agency): Parliament voted on second amendment Act customs tariff law, abolition of article 11 of the Act.

She added that customs tariff law No. 77 of 1984 and the Coalition Provisional Authority order No. 38 is taking 5% taxes on materials until the completion of customs tariff law No. 22 for the year 2010, selecting and naming of imported goods covered by each stage in coordination with llkmark and Economic Affairs Committee of the Council of Ministers, stating that only the roof of the stage, access to the full application of the new Act three years from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

The non application of the law of the customs tariff to the new after three years came because of the lack of the necessary requirements in the implementation of the provisions of this Act and to maintain the price level in the Iraqi market and to protect consumers from price increase as a result of the implementation of this law, in addition to giving adequate opportunity for financial management until the land use law.

The Customs Tariff Act was postponed several times in the House of representatives earlier for political and economic reasons./finished/5 p. x/
