    Baghdad Provincial Council intends to change the security plans in place in Baghdad, revealing his intention to choose a new leader for the Metropolitan Police after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

    A member of the Council Ghalib Zamili's (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network), said the council decided to make a change for the leaders of the security crackdown in Baghdad, according to the powers of provincial law irregular province, in the light of security events taking place in the capital, revealing that the changes planned for after the Eid al-Fitr will include Baghdad's police chief, as well as some of the other elements in the police, noting that the Council is currently working on the selection of a new leader through the study of names of candidates to fill the position.

    He explained that the Council will host the Baghdad Operations Command, and some leaders of other security in the interior and defense during the next two days to conduct a comprehensive change security plans in place now, which confirmed it touched unable to cope with the new methods adopted by the al-Qaeda terrorist in Baghdad to implement their plans.

    And Zamili warned that the provincial law amendments approved granting authority to the governor that the security will be responsible for changing the security leaders, noting that the coming stage will witness changes to the elements and security plans and the development of the intelligence effort in Baghdad.
