Sunni, Basra, Nineveh, Kurdish state and Sumer regions: future games in Iraq

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: How Iraq shall be run in the coming stage? Who are the real partners in the political action who endeavor to get more profits from the state? Who will make the 'deals" if most of the components are demanding separation and establishing regions and states?

The real priorities in the current political action is to "get gains to their components by all means, including to have strong footing in the Green Zone" despite all their attempts to establish their own regions.

The latest crisis was hoisting the Kurdish flag, which expected to have more flags to be hoisted, including Basra which was high during the demonstrations in the province, but with "bigger size".

To these flags, we had the Turkmen flag and Sumer flag which invaded the social media accounts.

Basra flag was hoisted in response for the "injustice" committed against the province that is regarded the main economic vein of the country, particularly in lack of services, infrastructures and other sectors.

The State of Sumer, the state published and circulated in the Face book, turned to be a big project that comprised of great numbers of social personalities and academicians and gained hundreds thousands of supports.

According to Sumer state supporters, it is a reaction against the "killings committed against the Shiite sect due to terrorist attacks, which shall comprise the "mid and southern Shiite provinces to protect their lives".

The Sunni region was highly voiced following the "negligence" against them by the Shiites who controlled the government, which obliged them to hold their conferences abroad.

Nineveh Plateau issue was raised after the invasion made by Da'ish (ISIS) organization and the participation of the Kurdish Peshmarga forces in the military operations.

Many called for annexing the plateau to the Kurdish region or turned it to a new one, out of their fear of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Kurdish Peshmarga units.

As for the Kurdish region, particularly before one week and following Baghdad's approval for the referendum, the case turned to be "the legitimate right of the Kurds for separation and to establish their own state to have their rights in independently exporting their oil with aspirations to annex Kirkuk province, the areal gold oil well ".

All these are the "big game that will have unknown or bad ends".

What is the meaning of this game which was "unconsciously" followed?

Is it real that the Iraqi social components can live together no more or there are long-term plans to divide the country or "tearing it apart"?

The Da'wa Party, which chairs the Iraqi government, stressed, more than once, that the Sunni external conferences aimed at "protecting Israel and dividing Iraq in to mini-states".

"According to the leaks, the Sunni conferences are supported by intelligence departments in region or neighboring countries, or even Washington and Baathist personalities, that are trying to "impose their will on the government and to destroy the current political projects", some sources said.

Others believe that the call for Basra region has its "end" to cut off the province from the Iraqi map to impose new administration, and who will control the new stat of Sumer?

All these are questions that need urgent answers in the near
