The head of the Agricultural Committee in the Council Hakki al - Jubouri in a press statement: The harvest of nearly half a million acres of wheat and barley crops began in most areas of Diyala according to a systematic plan in coordination with the relevant committees in the province and district operations.
He predicted Jubouri, to achieve self - sufficiency in the province of Diyala grain file because of the abundance of production that played climatic conditions and water availability , a key factor to achieve.
The Diyala, (54 km north of Baghdad), provinces with high productivity in the production of wheat and barley crops.
