The Cabinet voted on Tuesday to merge public companies in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
"The Council of Ministers held today its ordinary session under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi, and the Council voted during the session on a decision on the loss of war for public companies," a statement issued by the Council of Ministers.
The statement added that "during the session, the vote on the merger of public companies in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, namely companies (Yarmouk, Qadissiya, Zaqqaa, Hittin, Harith and Hamorabi) with the General Military Industries Company under the name of (General Military Industries Company).
