US President said, Donald Trump, Thursday, the United States and Kuwait , linked by long - standing relationships and a strong partnership, and linking them to trust, cooperation and stability in the region and defeat terrorist Daesh gangs.
In a press conference with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Trump said that "a deal of $ 5 billion has been agreed upon for Kuwait."
He stressed that "the alliance between the United States and Kuwait was not stronger than it is now, noting that the aircraft deal will contribute to the enhancement of common security between the two countries."
"I encourage all countries in the region to take their share in the battle against terrorism, and every nation must decide its future vision of violence or peace," Trump said.
"In Saudi Arabia we talked about ending the financing of terrorism, and every country has to contribute to that," he said.
"We are cooperating for a Gulf settlement and the Emir is in the process of reconciliation," he said.
He also stressed the important role of both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in the fight against terrorism.
