The Syrian army, in cooperation with the allied forces, broke down on Saturday the siege of Deir al-Zour military airport, imposed since January by the organization "Daash".
The official SANA agency said that this important field progress was made after the meeting of the government forces advanced from the cemetery area southwest of the city of Deir al-Zour airport protection.
The army units also managed to control the Hrabesh and al-Tataouh neighborhoods in the same area, the agency said.
