Jumaili said that the financial crisis facing the country three years ago, as a result of the significant decline in world oil prices, caused confusion of many projects, which called on the ministry to ask the ministries and provinces to reconsider their priorities and focus on projects of service-like nature, To provide support for the economy and development by about a year, noting at the same time that the Ministry is making efforts to facilitate the completion of basic projects, within the allocations available.
For his part, the governor of Baghdad, Atwan Al-Atwani, the Ministry of Planning to provide more support for the province of Baghdad, especially in the implementation of basic projects, revealing at the same time, the existence of three sewage projects will be launched after the ratification.
The governor said that the projects in the districts of Abu Ghraib, Taji and Nahrawan, pointing out the existence of other important projects listed in the plan 2018 belonging to the seven districts linked to the province of Baghdad.
It is noteworthy that most ministries and provinces, decided to stop the new projects because of the lack of allocations to the investment budget, while the Ministry of Finance asked the Secretariat of Baghdad and the Ministry of Electricity and other ministries of service to activate the collection of funding to finance its work to maximize non-oil revenue.[/rtl]
