    BAGHDAD / The economic expert on behalf of Jamil Antoine, said Tuesday that the expected deficit in the budget of 2018 will be about 30 trillion Iraqi dinars, while he explained that the oil province of Kirkuk will contribute to reducing the deficit because it is issued for the federal government.

    "The expected deficit in the budget of 2018 will be about 28 to 30 trillion Iraqi dinars," Antoine told "Iraq News", noting that "the level of the deficit is subject to change because of its association mainly with the price of oil, which accounts for the largest proportion of the budget."

    He explained the economic expert, "Kirkuk oil will contribute to reduce the deficit as it is issued for the benefit of the federal government is estimated at 550 thousand barrels per day," pointing out that "the world oil prices began to rise slightly and this factor also contributes to reduce the proportion of budget deficit General of the country ".
