OPEC announced on Wednesday the rise in the price of OPEC basket daily to 55.78 dollars per barrel.
The Organization said in a statement received "The Economist News" a copy of it, "The price of OPEC basket of fourteen barrels of crude rose to $ 55.78 a barrel."
"The price rose from the previous day of $ 55.41 the previous day, according to the OPEC secretariat."
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) consists of the Sahara mix (Algeria), Jerasol (Angola), Orient (Ecuador), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rape Litt (Gabon and Iran) , Sider (Libya), Bonnie Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Morgan (United Arab Emirates) and Miri (Venezuela).
