    Promised the Iraqi ports provide a great business opportunity to the people of Basra province to less than 250 thousand jobs, stressing that Iraq is on the verge of a major economic advancement in the event the project is complete the port of Basra.

    The general director of the Iraqi ports Omran Radi "We have a desire to be Basra, Iraq's economic capital through the establishment of the port, which will work on linking Basra European countries by extending Railway Hdedehaly and those countries."

    Radi added that "there will be a major economic springboard movement, will run the 100 thousand truck, the addition to the 1000 Qtaraly the railway, and 92 steamer on the design of the modern port of Basra, Mmaittalb a lot of manpower and the various disciplines."

    Basra is the most important provinces of the country in economic terms, because of its potential in the fields of energy, transport, agriculture and industry.
