Obama: America in the Trump era resembles Nazi Germany
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former US President Barack Obama said his successor, Donald Trump, had made his country look like Nazi Germany because of his foreign policies.
According to the newspaper "Cranes Chicago Business" on Friday, Obama compared the foreign policy of Tramp and the situation of Germany in the 1930s during the Nazi regime.
Obama said at the Chicago Economic Club: "The growing satisfaction" of the US leader and the principle of "America first" pose a threat to the country.
He noted that in the "Weimar era before the arrival of the Nazis to power, Germany was a prosperous democracies, but this did not prevent the National Socialist Party" Nazi "from taking power.
The former president of the United States asked Americans to be cautious when choosing their next president, referring to the victims of the Second World War, who exceeded 60 million people.
