Brent crude for $ 67.23 a barrel
Oil prices in the world market rose earlier this year as a result of OPEC's success in reducing output and pulling supply.
Brent crude was up 68 cents to $ 67.23 a barrel, while West Texas crude oil was up $ 60.66 a barrel, up 24 cents.
The rise in oil prices is due to the successful implementation of OPEC's agreement to reduce production as well as the small number of oil rigs due to the Christmas holiday.
