    Baghdad / SNG - The Council of Ministers has formed a national team to implement Security Council resolution 1325 on women, security and peace headed by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers. 
    According to a statement of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received SNG, a copy of it, "The team includes 25 members of the relevant bodies, including Amina Baghdad / Chairman of the Standing Committee for the advancement of the status of Iraqi women and representatives of ministries in the federal government and the region, in addition to the Department of Women Empowerment / Secretariat of the Council The Supreme Judicial Council, the National Security Apparatus, the High Commission for Human Rights, the Commission for the Implementation of National Reconciliation, the Higher Committee for the Relief of the Displaced and the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women's Affairs. "
    "The team approves the policies, plans, programs and proposals for the purpose of implementing Iraq's obligations under UN Security Council Resolution 1325, preparing international reports and setting the budget and mechanisms of its work. For the affairs of women [abolished] the functions of the technical secretariat of the national team, and its direct link with the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers [head of the team]. " 
    "The team was tasked with overseeing the national strategy to improve the status of Iraqi women, in accordance with the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 164 of 2014, follow up and coordinate the work of state institutions and NGOs on the outputs of the above plan, To promote the status of women from the stages of completion of the plan and the writing of the national report and forwarded to the relevant international bodies.
    He continued, "The directive of the Council of Ministers on the tasks of the national team, the formation of the Coordination Committee of the national team under the chairmanship of Amina Baghdad and the membership of the President of the Emergency Operations Operations Room for the implementation of the resolution [1325] and the coordinator of the team and representatives of a number of federal ministries and the region provided that their rank is not less than a director general, Coordination Committee between the sectors of the federal government and the Kurdistan Region and the provinces are not regular in the territory, and prepare the agenda of the national team in coordination with the Technical Secretariat, as well as the proposed policies of the work of the team and mechanisms to implement and rationalize the work of government sectors.
