    The Islamic Supreme Council on Saturday called on the government to study the activation of mandatory conscription service, reiterating that it conforms to religious guidelines.

    The statement pointed out that "the need to remove the military establishment from political and sectarian loyalties and conflicts and any differences that permeate the political process to remain the institution of the people and the homeland and the real defender of his sovereignty and dignity, and to mobilize all national efforts to establish a culture of respect and appreciation for the members of the armed forces and renounce all practices that harm their members or violate their duties , And to give moral and ideological construction special attention, and to strengthen the Husseini spirit of courage, altruism and the spirit of brotherhood and love among members of the armed forces. "

    The Supreme Council called on the government to "consider re-activating compulsory recruitment service because of its importance in preparing the youth and qualifying them to meet the challenges, especially as they are in line with the directives of the Supreme Reference for the training of young people."
