    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met yesterday with the heads of state and officials, including the German Chancellor and the Jordanian King, during his participation in the Davos Economic Forum in Switzerland.
    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the (range), a copy, that the latter "met on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos German Chancellor Angela Merkel." The statement added that "Abadi also met on the sidelines of the Forum Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentloni." 
    These bilateral meetings dealt with the victories achieved by Iraq against the organization of the preachers and bases of strengthening relations and the need for continued international support to Iraq to rehabilitate the liberated areas. 
    He also met with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on the sidelines of the forum, Abdullah bin Hussein of Jordan. The meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries. "During the meeting, they discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in all fields and the situation in the region and stressing Jordan's support for the unity, security and stability of Iraq, especially after the great victory over the terrorist gangs," the statement said.
    The meetings were preceded by a meeting attended by the Prime Minister, in which a number of heads of state and ministers took part, focusing on joint solutions for the Middle East. 
    Abadi said during a meeting with heads of international investment companies, "Iraq's future vision for the development of all sectors and investment opportunities large after the victory over the gangs of terrorist advocates and the importance of reconstruction and stability of Iraq." 
    On Tuesday evening, Abadi traveled to Switzerland to participate in the Davos Forum. The Prime Minister had confirmed on the eve of his departure that attendance and participation comes for the contribution of the international community in the reconstruction of Iraq. 
    In the meantime, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, who is participating in the Davos Economic Forum, also met with the Jordanian monarch. It is expected that the Prime Minister of the federal government and the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Barzani, on the sidelines of the International Forum.
