    Zarqa - The United States handed over two Black Hawk helicopters to Jordan on Sunday, bringing the total number of helicopters provided by Washington to the kingdom since last year to 12.
    "The Jordanian armed forces officially received on Sunday the final shipment of Black Hawk helicopters from the United States, bringing the total number received by the armed forces to 12 helicopters over the past nine months," the US embassy in Amman said in a statement, .
    "The helicopters will reinforce the Jordanian armed forces, its rapid reaction force and the security of Jordan," the statement said.
    The two helicopters were delivered at a ceremony attended by Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Amman, Henry Wooster and General Joseph Fotill, commander of the US Central Command, representing the United States.
    During the ceremony, an air show was presented with Black Hawk helicopters. The Jordanian Royal Air Force and the Rapid Response Force (RRC) launched a live fire and a counter-attack showing the capabilities of Black Hawk helicopters.
