The General Manager of the General Company for Land Transport, Emad Al-Asadi, announced on Saturday the completion of discussions with the oil tankers management, which will culminate in the consultations to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two parties in preparation for signing the largest oil contract in its history in the next few days.
Al-Asadi said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today that "these talks came under the guidance of the Minister of Transport Kazem Vajan al-umami as a result of what the state departments and institutions have been careful to work and adhere to time as well as the safety of cargo transported."
He added that "road transport and railways are the ones who take the operations of transporting oil from its sources spread throughout Iraq to the loading docks in Iraqi ports to take their way on board oil tankers to world markets."
