[ltr]MP Ali al-Morshedi revealed on Wednesday that there is pressure on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to withdraw US forces from Iraqi territory, indicating that Iraq was able to liberate its territory away from any foreign interference or help foreign troops.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We see that the presence of US forces in Iraq today is unjustified," Al-Morshedi told Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper. "Iraqis reject the continued presence of foreign forces on Iraqi soil."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "there is pressure on Prime Minister Haider Abadi to deal with this file seriously, and not allow any foreign forces to be present on Iraqi territory, because it represents a violation of national sovereignty," attributed the reason for this pressure, "the decision of the importance of the parliament to have a schedule for the exit of these forces from Iraq".[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Morshedi said that "the coming days will witness the departure of foreign forces from Iraqi territory, as Abadi is obliged to respond to the demands of the Iraqi people." He called on the Prime Minister to "not make the Iraqi-American relations a way to keep them."[/ltr]
[ltr]But he said he did not mind "the presence of foreign trainers in Iraq," provided that it was "in coordination with the Iraqi government" and for the purpose of "carrying out the tasks of training Iraqi forces only."[/ltr]

[ltr]Al-Morshedi warned that "the survival of US forces in Iraq threatens internal security," recalling "the response of the Iraqi people earlier, and the resistance of foreign forces without the intervention of the government."[/ltr]
