Lebanese Interior Minister Nihad al-Mashnouk warned that Beirut's identity was threatened by the Iranian regime's plan.
According to Asharq Al-Awsat, Al-Mahnouq spoke to a delegation of families in Beirut on Sunday, saying: "This is the first time that Arabism is at risk."
He stressed that the policy of separating Lebanon from regional crises by Prime Minister Saad Hariri since 2010, was a source of stability and security in Lebanon, especially Beirut.
