Egypt expects huge discoveries near the huge "back" field
Egypt's former oil minister, Osama Kamal, has announced that global exploration companies will soon announce new discoveries near the huge gas field of Dhahr, with reserves of around 30 trillion cubic feet.
Kamal said in his interview with Al-Hayat Al-Youm, and his follow-up, "The Economy News", that "the discovery of the Italian company (ENI) of the field (back) is a milestone for the discoveries of gas and oil in Egypt, gave great hope that there are new fields."
"Accordingly, global exploration companies have been encouraged to buy shares from Eni," he added, pointing out that there are areas adjacent to the field of "noon" will be announced new discoveries soon.
