After the fire that came on the ballot boxes in Baghdad for the legislative elections that took place recently, the reactions varied as the Prime Minister directed the Commander of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi orders all the leaders of operations in the provinces to tighten the security of the warehouses of the Commission and increase the quotas allocated to protect, A leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and with him the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri responsibility, warned the coalition, "Sarun" led by Moqtada al-Sadr that all options are open after the burning of electoral stores and can not predict the reaction of Iraqis.

A statement issued by the office of Abadi that "was directed to specialists in the Directorate of Criminal Evidence and the Directorate of Civil Defense to disclose the location of the incident and the investigation and prepare a detailed report of the incident and damage after being checked final.

"The security forces have the duty to protect the places of funds and storage centers from outside and have nothing to do with storing inside the buildings in order to preserve the independence of our heroic armed forces and non-interference in the electoral process, providing security for voters and protection of buildings, institutions, electoral centers and storage centers."

The statement added that "we emphasize the pursuit of terrorist gangs and those who try to tamper with security and elections and investigations are continuing to know the circumstances of the incident, as the burning of the electoral stores, which coincided with the day that occupied the gangs and the mobilization of the terrorist city of Mosul represents a plot to strike the country and its democratic approach and we will take the necessary measures and beating with an iron fist To anyone who begs himself to destabilize the security of the country and its citizens, "in reference to the implicit accusation of those involved in the incident.

On Sunday afternoon, fire broke out in warehouses used by the Iraqi Electoral Commission in Baghdad to keep ballot boxes in the last legislative elections.

The Electoral Commission has announced that the fire that hit the warehouses of ballot boxes will not indicate the results of the voting process.

The statement said that the fire "included all the hardware acceleration of the results and electronic verification devices of the Office of the elections in Baghdad, and the investigation is underway through the security services to detect the circumstances of the incident."

"The fire does not affect the results of the elections," he said. "The results of the elections are backed up by the National Office and the Baghdad Election Office, as well as ballot papers in the boxes."

"The Iraqi government and the security committee to protect the elections, headed by the prime minister, are directly responsible for protecting polling stations and stations throughout Iraq," said Hoshyar Zebari, a leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani.

He added that "without a professional investigation and knowledge of the results of the fire in Rusafa - Baghdad accelerated the number of politicians losers and pre-rulings and statements ready to demand the re-election, and that was their goal after losing."

"This is another proof of their evil and corrupt intentions to destroy the temple and those who serve their selfish interests at the expense of the people and the homeland," Zebari said, adding that "they will not return no matter how long the people have rejected them and punished them."

The speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri had called earlier in the day to re-hold the legislative elections in Iraq after a fire incident targeting a storage center for ballot boxes in Baghdad.

According to the deputy chairman of the security committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council Mohammed al-Rubaie, the funds "burned completely," noting that the stores were heavily guarded.

This comes as preparations are under way for the counting and counting of the votes of about 10 million voters, following the detection of fraud and intimidation of the elections held on 12 May last.

For his part, said the leader of the ruling coalition, one of the Sunni blocs winning the election that "the election results no longer convince anyone and who will participate in other elections after this failed experiment?"

"I call for the formation of a national salvation government that rebuilds the institutions of the weakened state and adapts and restructures a system of convincing elections before they are held," he said.

"The burning of electoral stores was the result of prior planning and some suspicions hovering around elements of the security services," said the alliance, "Saron" in a statement issued today.
