The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mohammed Shi'a al-Sudani, announced on Thursday the launch of the extension of the last installment of suspended social protection benefits to six thousand beneficiaries and beneficiaries in Baghdad and the provinces.

"The extension of the last installment of suspended social protection benefits was launched to 6,000 beneficiaries and beneficiaries in Baghdad and the provinces," al-Sudani said in a leaflet on his official Facebook page.

"The beneficiaries can check the ATMs for receiving," Sudani said.

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said earlier that the economic crisis was overcome despite the pressure and sacrifices suffered by citizens. He pointed out that the percentage of social protection in the budget has been raised to 60%.
