The official spokesman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Laith Jabr Hamza, announced the start of the transfer of ballot boxes to the provinces of (Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Muthanna, Qadisiyah and Wasit) to the city of Baghdad at the Baghdad International Fair.
Hamza said in a statement to the Commission received by "Sky Press" that the counting and manual counting of polling stations and stations, which have complaints and appeals to the centers and stations of the provinces referred to above will take place on Monday.
He stressed that the audit will be in accordance with the legal contexts prescribed by the laws and regulations in force for the elections in addition to the procedures stated in the decision of the Federal Supreme Court in this regard and in a hierarchy of the provinces mentioned and according to the dates determined by the Commission for each province and as of Monday, 9/7/2018, where The staff of the UNHCR offices in Karkh and Rusafa and the staff of the presidents of the courts of appeal Rusafa and Karkh were used to perform manual counting and sorting.
He added that the manual counting and counting procedures will continue under the direct supervision of the Board of Commissioners as well as representatives of the United Nations and international observers and representatives of embassies of the world and representatives of political parties and the media.
