A member of the House of Representatives outgoing Zeinab Thabet, on Monday, the Minister of Agriculture Falah Hassan Zaidan, one of the directors-general of the Ministry of continuing leave despite his escape outside Iraq to issue an arrest warrant against him, indicating that the minister gives him a full salary with his allocations and be transferred to him outside the country.
"One of the directors-general of the Ministry of Agriculture has fled abroad and has been arrested by the judicial authorities for financial and administrative corruption," Thabit said.
She added that "the Minister of Agriculture gives the fugitive manager continuous leave one after the other like an open holiday despite the arrest warrant against him," noting that "the salary and allowances of the fugitive manager are transferred out of Iraq every month."
The Committee on Agriculture in the parliamentary session ended on Sunday, a large corruption deal to spend more than five billion dinars forged contract and fake names of farmers in Anbar province.
