    Called on the province of Basra, on Saturday, the federal government to fulfill its financial pledges to the province, indicating that the government handed over the Office of the province 97 billion dinars of funds development regions and petrodollar out of 238 billion within the budget.
    Council member Nashat al-Mansouri said in a statement that the government has promised to spend additional funds for the construction of seven desalination plants in addition to the power plants, but has not been implemented so far.
     Al-Mansouri added that "Basra calls for Baghdad to pay 4 trillion dinars within the amounts of petro-dollar, but it allocated 238 billion dinars only during the budget this year sent 97 billion dinars to the province."
    He continued that "the popular demonstrations are still continuing and is a clear escalation until the fulfillment of the demands of the visual citizen to provide services appropriate to Iraq's economic capital and its main resource in oil and border crossings." Ending / 25 d
