Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani ordered today, Tuesday, to withdraw the hand of one of his office employees and investigate him for his involvement in a network of spying on MPs and officials.
His media office stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "al-Sudani directed the formation of an investigative committee against one of the employees working in the Prime Minister's Office; for adopting an offensive post against some officials and a number of members of the House of Representatives, and issuing an order to withdraw the hand until the investigation is completed."
The office stressed "not to be lenient with any violation of the law, and we support all legal procedures in this regard."
