    Al-Maalouma/Baghdad..
The Parliamentary Human Rights Committee called on the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, today, Tuesday, to open an urgent investigation into the attack on health professionals, while stressing the need to develop effective plans to prevent these attacks.
The Vice Chairman of the Committee, Hussein Ali Mardan, told /Al-Maalouma/ Agency, that "demanding legitimate rights does not come with attacking peaceful demonstrators," noting that "the committee will take the necessary legal measures against violators."
He added that "the attack on peaceful demonstrators by security forces is unconstitutional and we will take legal measures."
Mardan stressed "the need to protect the right to peaceful demonstration and demand justice for those affected." End /25 H
