    Information/Report..
The decision of the Federal Supreme Court in Iraq to terminate the membership of the deposed Parliament Speaker, Mohammed al-Halbousi, sparked a conflict between the Sunni component, which has not found an alternative until this moment as a result of the differences between the members of the component itself, although the Progress and Sovereignty Alliance authorized the heads of the alliance, al-Halbousi and Khamis al-Khanjar, to choose the alternative name to fill the position after it became vacant.

At the same time, after the continuation of the Sunni political conflict, political voices emerged calling for early elections, but most political movements and forces ruled out holding them for several reasons. Some also considered the call for early elections to be aimed at motivating Al-Sudani’s government to continue implementing the government program.
The Victory Coalition ruled out the emergence of a major political crisis that would lead to early elections.
The coalition spokesman, Aqil Al-Radini, confirmed in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency that "Al-Sudani's government is supported by the rest of the political parties and today it is moving in the right direction in terms of providing services and completing stalled projects, and in several political, security and economic aspects, as well as on the external level with the presence of distinguished relations with many friendly Arab and foreign countries."

As for the Al-Fatah Alliance, one of the components of the Coordination Framework, it confirmed that it is very difficult to hold early elections at the present time due to technical and realistic reasons, noting that some people’s call to hold them is aware of its difficulty, but it may aim to motivate the government to implement its tasks outlined in the government program.
Alliance member Ali Al-Fatlawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The reality indicates that there is no possibility of holding early elections for technical and realistic reasons," indicating that "early elections need political consensus regarding their law, especially since there are political forces that have called for amending the law, and certainly the agreement will take time."
He added that "other technical obstacles may be one of the reasons for not holding early elections, including appointing a new election commission after the current commission's mission to complete the regional elections has ended. Therefore, the appointment process must take an insufficient period of time, in addition to the absence of any unstable security or economic situation, and the general situation is normal."
As for the State of Law Coalition, through its leader Nouri al-Maliki, it called for holding early parliamentary elections in the country by the end of this year, 2024, stressing that the government of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani is obligated to do so within his electoral program, stressing the need to prevent government officials from participating in it unless they resign from their positions.
Al-Maliki, who represents one of the pillars of the Coordination Framework Alliance that formed the government in Iraq, said during a television interview, followed by / Al-Maalouma /, “We need to hold early elections, but it is known that elections require that parliament dissolve itself, and I have reviewed and recalled the sites and stations that have passed and found that parliament does not need to dissolve itself, but rather it continues until the night of the elections, and when the elections are held, parliament dissolves automatically.”

The Presidency of the Republic denied what was circulated on social media by some figures about the Presidency of the Republic’s intention, in agreement with leaders of the Coordination Framework, to prepare a draft law amending the Elections Law.
In addition, the Coordination Framework confirmed the validity of what was stated in the statement of the Presidency of the Republic, in which it denied the existence of coordination between it and the Framework regarding amending the elections law, indicating that the issue of amending the law or anything else was not raised during the meetings of the leaders of the Coordination Framework.
The leader of the Coordination Framework, head of the Design Alliance, MP Amer Al-Fayez, said in a statement to the / Al-Maalouma / agency, that "the Presidency's denial of the lack of coordination between it and the Coordination Framework regarding amending the elections law is absolutely correct."
He added, "The leaders of the Coordination Framework have not yet raised the issue of amending the elections law during their previous meetings, and there is no discussion on their agendas of any indication of an initial agreement to discuss amending or legislating a new elections law."
