[size=45]The Ministry of Transport announced that the capacity of Baghdad International Airport will reach ten million passengers, which will move it to the third generation of international airports.[/size]
[size=45]The Director of the Ministry’s Media Office, Maitham Al-Safi, said in a press statement that “the expansion and development work currently underway at the airport includes rehabilitating passenger lounges, aircraft stands, and expanding green spaces, which will be fully completed next year.”[/size]
[size=45]He stressed that “the airport’s capacity will become 10 million passengers after the completion of development and rehabilitation works within the investment portfolio projects with the International Finance Corporation, revealing that mass transit lines will be opened from Al-Alawi garage towards the airport, in addition to activating mass transit within it.”[/size]
