    Economy News - Baghdad
Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the problem of delaying the financing of salaries for employees and workers in the public sector is related to all Iraqi governorates and is not limited to the Kurdistan Region only due to the lack of financial liquidity.
Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to reporters today from Makhmur district in Nineveh, "The salary problem is related to all Iraqi governorates, and is not limited to the Kurdistan Region only, because there is a problem in providing financial liquidity."
She added, "The issue of salaries is important, but it may be delayed a little," adding, "Today, part of the salaries of some ministries in the Kurdistan Region have started, and in less than a week, the salaries of all federal governorates, including the region, will be funded."
Al-Dulaimi expected that the problem of delaying the funding of salaries would end next month, and that employees would receive their dues on time next month, including the Kurdistan Region.
