    The United States announced its support for the Government's efforts to improve the rates of implementation of the investment budget for the provinces.

    A statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad received a «morning» copy of which had been set up in collaboration with the Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs took two days during which they focus on the identification of opportunities to improve the rates of investment and implementation of the budget in the governorates ».

    He pointed out that «the project to strengthen corporate governance, also known as Project (offering Taqadum), aims to help the Iraqi government in its efforts to improve the methods of planning and development and to respond to the requirements of the annual budgets at the provincial level."

    The statement said that "the project aims to strengthen governance to provide support for the strategic framework agreement signed between the United States and Iraq by helping to raise the efficiency of the methods practiced by local governments in order to meet the needs of its citizens."
