The Electoral Commission denies the suspension of the work of the Board of Commissioners and the Electoral Administration

The Independent High Electoral Commission denied the suspension of the work of the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]Board of Commissioners[/url] and the Electoral Administration.
"The Board of Commissioners and the Electoral Administration are conducting their work normally and they are studying and discussing the decision of the Council of Ministers which includes (suspending the work [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]of the[/url] current [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]Board of Commissioners[/url] and the directors of the offices in the provinces), " EMB President Riad Badran said in a statement . Pointing out that the Council will discuss the decision and take the constitutional and legal procedures in connection with it and in accordance with the third amendment to the Law of the House of Representatives No. 45 of 2018 amended.
Badran stressed that "no party, including the Commission, can stop the work of the Political Parties and Organizations Law No. 36 of 2015 and the Party Affairs Department of the Commission is continuing its work and continuing to register them for parties and alliances. The [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]Council of Commissioners will[/url] deal with the decision of the Council of Ministers in accordance with constitutional and legal frameworks."
