    The government media cell announced on Thursday the pilot launch of the large Basrawater project next month, noting that the completion rate of the project amounted to 90%, and will cover when completed 40% of the need for water conservation. 

    A spokesman for the cell Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, that "will be the pilot launch of the project of water Basra, after the completion of technical works and reach 90% completion rate in preparation for launch next month," noting that "the project will secure 40% Of the need for conservation of water. "
    For his part, the spokesman of the Ministry of Health Saif Al-Badr , according to the statement, to "the reception of health institutions in Basra 75 wounded, 42 demonstrators and 33 of the security forces, and the registration of the death of six citizens," expressing surprise "attacks on a number of ambulances and paramedics" . 

    On the pollution of water in Basra and the injury suffered by citizens as a result, Al-Bader said that "the occurrence of 6280 cases of people with diarrhea, divided between medium and simple." 

    Basra province has been witnessing for months angry demonstrations demanding services, primarily drinking water and electricity, and developed into the intervention of security forces, killing a number of demonstrators and wounding others.
